“Нема світа понад рідне”: образ Буковини в художньому осягненні Юрія Федьковича

Анотація

The paper presents an attempt to interpret Yuriy Fed’kovych’s conceptual vision of his native Bukovyna, Bukovynian Hutsulia. For this purpose the author describes the writer’s social, historical, ethnic and cultural background, points out the events of his personal life which can make such interpretation peculiar. The nature of writer’s vision of his land was defined as objective and subjective at the same time. It is relevant to poetical (romantic), prosaic (purely realistic), dramatic spheres of Bukovynians’ life as they were beheld and depicted by Fed’kovych. It is emphasized that the writer’s vision of Bukovyna depends on his psychological mood at the time of creative work.
